BYU!!!

I've officially started school on the world's greatest campus: Brigham Young University. It's an incredible feeling to be going to school with such a rich history. I finally got a new job working as a Physical Therapy Aide at Intermountain Healthcare. This is going to be a very busy year! But it will definitely be rewarding. I'll put up a few pictures from the first week of being here.

KNIVES

It's halfway through summer and I've done nothing. I sell knives to earn money for college and a mission...stop laughing. It's ok hopefully I'll be able to find a new job soon. Anyway, last week the fam got back from our trip to Hayden Lake. We met the Rietz family there and partied f0r a week. It was a blast! We even had a private dock right behind the house. PS I just got facebook so if you want to know more feel free to check my profile there. This is Jordan at the Children's Museum. The kid is a goof. We went there on Wed.

Prom 2008

Last night was Prom...my last high school dance ever. I went with Hollie King, one of the funnest girls I've ever met. It was at the state capitol building in Salt Lake. It was fun to be there after learning about Greek, Roman, and Gothic architecture. Here's a couple pics from after the dance.

This pic is a tribute to my boys who couldn't win a game in the Big Dance if their lives depended on it.

All they need is this stud on the team next year.

Senioritis

I have four AP tests I should be studying for right now...oh well!
I can distinctly remember the exact moment "Senioritis" hit me. About a week and a half ago I was standing next to the kitchen table at my friend Ally's house. There were about 4 or 5 of us studying for a mass Art History test the next day. I was having a rough time getting myself to focus...and then everything went fuzzy. My eyes were blurry, I mysteriously couldn't read the words in my Art History text book, and I couldn't hear the conversation going on around me. So this is what Senioritis is...
Don't worry...I wasn't in a coma for the next couple days. I snapped out of it in the next couple minutes (although there's this weird mental residue from that experience that won't come off). Oh yeah, and every once in a while I get those same symptoms. Now that it's crunch time for my AP classes, I start to freak out every time i get them. On top of it all, I'm supposed to be tutoring every Monday and Thursday, going to voice lessons every Tuesday, attending mutual (as usual) on Wednesdays, and trying to have fun somewhere in all of that.
I always thought it was an over-exaggerated (yet still truthful) state of mind. For those yet to experience the strange phenomenon of Senioritis, don't let that thought penetrate your beliefs. It IS a real thing, and it WILL devour you in the last months of your senior year. :) I love school.
